My blog's PR went up from 0/10 to 2/10 overnight!

Guys I am so excited. My blog's PR went up from 0 to 2/10 overnight. It was just yesterday that I made a few modifications. I had deleted 3 old posts and removed a few PTC ads and when i woke up today and went to my blog I couldnt believe my eyes! The PR changed from 0/10 to 2/10. I opened my blog several times to make sure that it really had changed. Now thats a miracle. Has it happened to any of you? And is this the new Google PR update which happens every 3 months?
