People give various answers to this question. Personally, I will always consider my dog family, but that is not the case with some people. Do you consider your pets as family? By the way, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Yes, I consider them family. I can't imagine not having them.

I have a yellow labrador, which I have been keeping her since she was about one month old. She is now one and a half year old, and we have been treating her as part of our family. She is just like a small kid, so lovely and so naughty. I am not used to live without her now.

Yes I do consider pets as part of the family. A dog can live up to ten and fourteen years. I missed my 13 year old collie as if he was a human being.

Hi sanjanaraman, It is a good thing, treating your pets as family members. But I don't have any pets. I don't have the time to look after the pets.Another problem with me is,where to leave the pets when I leave home suddenly? One thing is sure,Your dog will be more affectionate and thankful to you than any other human beings! Happy New Year

of course.. we usually gave our family name right after the name of our pet.. hahaha... because we love them... we treat them as a human... we have two dogs in our house way back then we have 3 dogs and 2 cats and then we also have a bunch of lovebirds... don't ask me what happen to them... hahaha... we are only few in the family and we always have our appointments so if one is left in the house the pets will do the entertainment... hehehe...

Yes, I consider my pets as family members. They are like my children. I can't imagine life without my two loyal dogs. Since I work from home, I'm always with them and we have a very strong bond. They stay with me in my office while I work and they join me when I'm done. They even sleep with me every night. I don't understand how someone can have a pet and not consider them family. How can you not get attached to them? And if you can't love your pet like family, then you shouldn't have a pet.
