Hi eshaan, I had just finished watching the live broadcast of the excited countdown ceremony thirty minutes back. I could see thousands of people in the spot were so excited for the countdown to 2009. They welcomed and celebrated the climax moment in the park singing, dancing and waving the flags, balloon and colorful light sticks in their hands at the same time. Happy New Year eshaan! I believe both of us and our families and as well are still in the happy atmosphere of the grand festive moment of the 2009 new year. Yeah, this is the good starting of our 365 days. My husband and I would start and celebrate our first brand new day by having our lunch visiting the Starbuck coffee in the shopping mall, to entertain our appetite by taking our respective favorite drinks and desserts there. I hope your lovely kids and you as well as your family will have a happy and memorable brand new day of year 2009. I wish you and yours all the best!

In India its still 1 more hour for the countdown to begin, its 11 pm now, and we were watching TV programmes while taking dinner, now when i came here, saw that u have already entered the new Year....Thanx for teh wishes and may God bring u all the happiness and health n prosperity in the new year !!!

chinese new year is funny ,do you know it before ? when it is the spring festival,people all come together to see the fireworks together and eat delicious meal together . relatives come to meet each other too.
