Waht is the New Year day of your country?

Hi all in mylot, after a few hours the whole world is going to welcome and celebrate 'Happy New Year 2009' according to the English calender. In my country India, some other calenders are also used. As in West Bengal, a state, New Year is celebrated on 'First Bisakh' according to Bengali Calender which generally falls on 14th of April every year. What about your country? Do you celebrate New Year on any other day as per other calender too? Happy New Year..
