I only have one that I am going to exchange. I got a pair of earring from my sister that are long and dangling and I don't wear anything dangling.....I will exchange them for some that are more just posts. So are you going to exchange any of your Christmas gifts?

Nope, I have nothing to return this year. Got an album of the new baby to carry in my purse and a monogrammed sweatshirt with all the grandkids names on it. The other gifts aren't here yet. Two of our kids are traveling and have been unable to send. Maybe they forgot me. Either way it's fine. I know I'm not the forgotten mom. I would haunt them if they ignored me...lol

Well, not 'gifts' per se, but I have to return some batteries I got with a gift. My husband bought me a really nice professional digital camera for Christmas because of my new business which entails taking photographs. The camera is lovely and I wouldn't think of exchanging it but he bought rechargeable lithium batteries for it. Now, lithium batteries are great and everything, but I don't have a lithium battery charger. I have a charger that can handle NiCad and NiMH batteries, but can potentially make lithium batteries explode! My husband put the lithium batteries in my charger and I'm so VERY glad I checked it not long after... the charger itself plus the cord and adapter thingie that plugs into the wall were very close to burning up!!! To my husband's credit, he honestly didn't notice that he had picked up lithium batteries. But, being the electronic geek that he is, he SHOULD have noticed! Anyway, I've got to exchange those batteries for NiMH or NiCad... no biggie.

I didn't have to return any of my gifts. I liked everything that I got. I did have to take an outfit back that was for my son because he got two just alike. LOL So I just took one and exchanged it for another outfit.

haha really sucks when you think you've gone down a few lbs and then you eat some sweets and it takes you 1/3 the time to gain it back then it took you to loose it!

Hope you find some extra cute, un-dangling earrings, Jill. I didn't have to exchange anything Christmas gifts this year, so I am pleased about that. Did you have a good Christmas?

My Christmas was fun. It does get hectic but still, it was very enjoyable. In a few weeks we should all be back to our "normals." Take care.

My hubby bought me a nice heart-shaped necklace and the chain broke. We brought it back to the store the following day to exchange it. They didn't have another heart but did have a butterfly that was wonderful. I have worn it every day since.

Hi jillhill, SO far this year, I love all the gifts that I receive so I will not be doing that! BUt, it happens to me in the past and it's more practical that keeping it and not using the gift!

I hate returning gifts standing in that long line so alot of times I will just regift something that was given to me or one of my kids to someone else. Hubby bought me lotion that gives me a headache and socks with those little circle things on the bottom that hurt my feet so I just plan to regift them lol.

I didn't have to return any this year, but I have had to exchange quite a few in the past.. I try not to exchange any more than I really need to because you have to wait forever in the lines to exchange.. When I put off exchanging, I forget unitl it is too late and end up having to put the gift in a garage sale just to get rid of it.. Happy New Year!!!

Hi jill! Nope! I didn't get that many gifts so I sure don't have anything to return! I got gifts that I really couldn't return. I wouldn't be able to give a good reason to! I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings anyway! So, I will just be happy with what I got! Sometimes that is just the right thing to do!

I got a video recorder but the recordings were blurry and i didn't want to exchange for another one seeing it may of been the product itself.

My daughter bought me a digital frame. I was going to return it because I didn't want to apply anything to my computer, I have enough trouble as it is but she has offered to enter my pictures in it, so I'll be keeping it after all. I'm really not into all the modern tech.lol

I did all my exchanges all ready. My mother in law bought me an ugly gray turtleneck sweater. I returned it and bought a coral sweater instead. Other than that, the returns were for my kids. My mother in law was suppose to buy my son some exercise thing and she bought him clips to a weight bench. She said she bought my daughter pixos and she bought her the replacement kit for the pixos. Other than that all was good.

I actually didn't have to return anything this year. My parents got my fiance and I a dishwasher...yay. And they got us some clothes. She called ahead to check our sizes while she was shopping. I was surprised to that all of our daughters toys worked and went together just fine so no returns on those either. Luckily his mom and my mom kept in touch with me so we didn't buy any doubles of anything which tends to happen if people don't talk to each other about what they are getting. Overall it was a wonderful holiday.

I have one gift that I need to exchange. I received two hand mixers, so will return one and pick out something else. I don't have any idea what I will get in its place, but I'm sure I will find something. Maybe I will pick out a new piece of clothing since I will be going on a trip in February and will need some new clothing for that. Best wishes to you and yours!
