How many hours before countdown to 2009 in your country?

I know some countries like Australia have already ushered in the new year. I'd still like to know if you have already done so in your country. How many hours since you ushered in 2009? Those of you mylotters who are still waiting on the arrival of 2009, how much longer will you have to wait? I have aproximately two hours to go before the church bells start chiming, the shouts of HAPPY NEW YEAR pierce the night sky and the fireworks go off to many cheers and kisses.
