Happy new year guys. I had just adopted a couple of weeks ago, a stray female cat. Since shes a stray cat, there's some limitations in caressing her. She doesn't like stroking her back portion because maybe she tickled on it. What's your idea and experience to tamed totally on an adopted stray cats

hi mob...i know a couple people who took in a stray cat and the key is to give them space and plenty of time to know you. and no cat likes their hind end touched. hehe. every cat has their own personality. and it's best to stick with the same food. if you change brands do it gradually. add a little of the new to the old and day by day increase the new food. that helps avoid stomach sickness. it's great you're giving the cat a home. i wish you the best with your new kitty.

Your cat may not like to be touched on her back because it could be painful to her. I would have her checked out by a vet if you can. Thanks for giving her a home

i agree with green some cats don't like to be affectionate but if you give them time and space and plenty of love when they want it they will love you back and be as tame as an animal can be. Good luck
