What is the matter with this world now?

I think over all we are people with our heads in the sand over this issue. Some people clearly see the handwriting on the wall and are very passionate about trying to turn things around but the majority is just going along with business as usual, hoping that it is all hype and that nothing bad will really happen. People are set in their ways and unfortunately much of it is wasteful. We have been blessed for so long with so much abundance that in appreciation for what we have had and for the sake of our future generations we should strive to take care of our planet and resources before it is too late.
