Are there victims of firecracker accident in your place on new year's eve?

Most people in big cities are having fun with firecrackers on new year's eve. Some of them not only use firecrackers but also guns to make noise. I don't understand why some people are having fun with this dangerous thing. Oftentimes after or during new year's eve hospitals are full of patients, most are victims of fire crackers, stray bullets. etc. Hows your place now? do you have similar incident on new year's eve? Just curious to hear your story.

No it was pretty tame where I'm at. I don't know why people love to blast their fingers off twice a year, I reserve that time for the 4th of July only. Hapyy New ear, sorry, but the "Y" got blown off.

Well, most people who are having lots of fireworks on Christmas and new year's eve are from the Asian countries. In America, they have lots of fireworks on the 4rth of July. Happy new year too.
