Do you have a separate room for TV or is it in your bedroom?

We had the TV in our bed room for many years and we teneded to eat drink and sleep there. Infact we spent most of the time in the bedroom and it was always messy as we always sat and ate on the bed itself. We often foudn ants and insects crawling on to the bed chasing bits of ffod dropped on teh bed by the kids. We decided to move the TV ourt of the bedroom to a separate room. Now we have a separate TV room and it just has the TV and a few sofas and chairs for us to sit on and a centre table for keeping plates etc as often the children sit and have their meals here. Now our bedroom stays neat and tidy and the TV room is not too bad either.

It's really more advisable for the TV to placed in the living room especially for the kids. Their room should remain a study room instead of having a TV inside it. TV could also help entertain guests for a few minutes while you do something.

I have a television in the living room and another smaller one down here in the family room where I use the computer. It is not hooked up to the cable, so the kids just watch their movies on it.

We have a tv in our living room and in our bedroom, which are hooked up to the satelite box. However, we do have a couple other tvs, but they're not hooked up to anything.

I have a t.v. in my room and another one in the living room. The one in my room helps if I get bored doing work on the internet. That way, I just watch t.v. and continue my work. Multitasking. Happy new year.

No, the TV is not there in my bedroom. Its because they think that if TV will be in my room, then I won't study, and will sit watching TV all day. Perhaps, they are right! Tv is so addictive, it should never be in one's bedroom. In my home, the TV is there in 2 rooms, one is there in the dining hall, and the other one is in my computer room. In the second room which im talking about, there is only TV, and my PC. My parents even object in keeping the PC in my room, because they think that its more addictive than TV also, for me. And ofcourse, they are right in thinking so!! But someday i wish i will be able to keep the TV as well as the PC in my room, when my studies will be over.

We have one in the living room and in our bedroom. Dh watches tv til he falls asleep in bed, there's a gradual accumulation of wrappers and such in there too. I get in there and clean it out before I have the same problems as you but it's not a surprise if you find one under a dresser. The one in the living room is on too much. We have a small house so we often eat infront of the tv in the living room & my hubby is addicted to the simpsons so guess what time it's on usually... @ dinner *sigh*

I don't have a tv in my bedroom and not intending to have one in there at any time. There's only one tv in my house and it's in the living room.

I just have one television in my house and that is in my living room area for the family. I kind of wish I had another one maybe for my son to have in his own room. That might come another time .

I have a television in my bedroom. But there is one in my living room as well. I eat in my bedroom sometimes. I try my best to be careful about dropping food but sometimes that's not too successful. There have been times when I've dropped tiny bits of food and there is a whole army of ants crawling from my wall to it later on.

I have a tv in my room but I also have a tv in the livingroom.I'm pretty insistant about eating at the table especially since the brunt of the housework falls on me.One of my peeves is eating at the table.lol.Unless it's popcorn or something like that.I sometimes use my bedroom as my "getaway"and what other thing perfectly fits into a getaway besides a computer..lol..my tv.

we have a tv in our bedrooms as well as in the living room. When we were kids my dad would tell us to go to sleep while he was watching some movies. As we grew, it became a habit that we sleep with sounds. I've tried sleeping without a radio or a tv on and i seem to have a hard time sleeping. So now, we sleep with the television on. I put the tv on sleep mode so that it would automatically shut off.

Hi There! We used to put our TV set outside the bedroom so that one TV set would be enough. Save money for buying new appliances and save money for paying electric bills. Hope this could help. Have a nice day!

Well, it's just the other way round with us. We had our tv in the sitting room and we have moved it to our living room. This way we can watch our favorite channels late night.

As a matter of fact I have it in both. The drawing room has a home theater system installed with a plasma tv mounted on the wall. In my bed room i have another flat screen which I watch before going to bed. I guess i use the home theater only for movies & when guests are in. Else I use the one in my bed room.
