Has anyone tried Dave Ramseys Snowball Effect?

Has anyone tried his debt elimination plan? I am going to try it starting today. I have some bills we want to get paid because we want some new debt. Does anyone find that odd? We want to pay off debt so that we can buy a new house and a motorcycle. It's amazing. Why don't people like to live debt free? Ugh! I want to be able to pay cash for everything.

I haven't heard of the Dave Ramsey's Snowball Effect. I do want to pay off some bills but that will take more income than what I have coming in at the moment. Hopefully soon though. I don't find it strange that you are wanting to buy a house. Sometimes we need to pay off things to be able to buy new things. Paying for everything in cash would be great!

I agree with you on wanting to pay cash for everything! I am not familiar with the snowball effect, but I can kind of guess what it's about. I am so tired of trying to pay down debt, but I know that if we keep at it we'll eventually get there. Meanwhile, we're trying to make more money too, largely through our Monavie business. Good luck with house and motorcycle. Now is probably a good time to buy if you can swing it because business is down everywhere and so sellers might be more likely to make a good deal.
