How comfortable are you with numbers ??

Are you comfortable remembering numbers be it any telephone number,any street number, a bus number or something....or do u find numbers giving u a tough time while u try to remember & recollecting them. I am not so good with the numbers so place myself in the second catagory...what about you ? how close are you with the numbers in your life ?

when i was kid i used to play with my brother a very nice game by numbers we used to take thousand numbers by heart
and we used to do a lot of calculating it was so crazy, and actually we can calculate multiplication of big numbers ...

lucky u...that childhood game must be coming handy now...thank you for responding.
By the way can u actually do the multiplications without pen & paper ??

Before undergoing general anesthesia when i gave birth to my twins, I used to be pretty good in memorization.Numbers as it is written or placed, can be easily absorbed. The skill is tainted a little bit after I gave birth. I still am a visual person, though. However, in terms of arithmetic, I appreciate teaching mathematics to my twin daughters now compared to studying Math while growing up. I now came to realize that numbers are everywhere; and memorization of numbers is one thing; analogy and computing is another thing - but both are enjoyable!

hi udit...i wish that i were good with numbers. it'd make life so much more enjoyable. there's a rare number that will stick with me and when it does people think i'm into numbers. i wish. numbers seem to be more evasive to my brain as the use of them increases. but i'm still surviving.
