I think that aussie had there great time and due to there loss of key players and lack of experienced players they are falling down the world rankings. I dont think they will claw there way back up to be one of the best teams again because of the players they have now , they are great and all but not fantastic.

Ya, Australia is probably one of the best professional team that I have seen. But ups and downs are everywhere and Australia is no exception to that. Australia, have the best line up of all rounders, from top to bottom. They have the power to come back as number one again, that is what i believe, rest time will say.

no riend i dont think that they will come back again because all the main cricketers have retiered and those who are in team are in bad form....the main thing they are lacking is the bowling attack if fast bowlers do well than spinners cant and vice versa but my favourite team south africa is going well...so i want sa to be at top!!!

by seing some matches we can not determine ability of a team because they were the best team and some time west indies were best so time to time the emperror transfered from one team to another so when theri tiem will come they will definitely bounce back

Yes, I believe in what you say as far as the logic is concerned - what goes up has to come down. I think, the Australians will bounce back, but don't want them to do so. They have done so in the past. They have been on top of a particular game even they were almost down and out in that game. There are many examples - the one dating back to the amazing 2007 series between South Africa and Australia. The particular game between these two teams - the last match where Australia posted a mamoth 434. In that game South Africa had taken a lead of 2-0 in the 5 match series. Australia bounced back to win both the next 2 games to tie the series at 2 all. Well, its another thing that South Africa went on to overhaul the target of 434 scoring 438 with a ball to spare. [I WATCHED THAT GAME JUST AN HOUR AGO.] But as a matter of the fact, the current Aussie teams seems soooooo crestfallen that they are having a bloodbath almost daily. And the blood is of course of Ponting. The likes of McGrath, Warne and Gilly being not in the team can and is having a negative impact on them. So, it's a tricky question to answer if the Aussies will be able to come back or not.
