Has anyone inspired you lately?

I have lots of blogs I visit and comment on. Some I have put in a folder I call Favorite blogs. Well, I went to the very first one that belongs to a girl with my same name out in Colorado. She had blogged about what she started doing yesterday in place of making lots of New Year's resolutions she knew would be broken. So she started out going around her house, cleaning things that she had neglected while babysitting her grandchildren this past week or so and washing up things around the house. Well, she had taken all her glass containers in her house (candle holders, vases) and washed them up. I looked up to see my manger scene and glass on my Entertainment Center shelf. I got up right then, removed all the manger pieces and put them back in their box. I then removed all the wilted greenery that I had placed around the manger scene along with the small lights. I had done this after our pastor's wife did it in our church vestibule with our larger manger scene. It is so beautiful light up. I removed the protective paper I had put down under the branches so they would not ruin the wood. Then I put the new electronic picture frame our daughter had given us for Christmas on that shelf, surrounded with other pictures, beautiful candle sticks I got from a friend at church, and a vase with flowers. Now, it looks like the coming of a New Year! I am so excited that someone has inspired me to sort of keep the promises to myself that I wanted to do this coming year - make a change! So today I will probably take down my Christmas tree, too. Otherwise, it might be March before I get it down. I am a procrastinator, at times, especially when it comes to taking the Christmas tree down and putting up all those decorations! Takes longer to put them up than it did to take them down. Guess I had better get my husband to go into the attic and get all my boxes! I'm in the mood, and if I don't do it now, it won't get done this weekend! Has anyone inspired you to do something that you've put off? How long did it take you to get up and go do it? I knew if I didn't do it right then, I'd forget and that would still be to do next week!
