I watched a documentary on how an ancient civilization knew about our solar system long before telescopes and satellites and how they found a tenth planet that we call planet x. Has any astronauts found planet x as yet? I wonder what it would be like.

Ha, now it would be the 9th planet. There are actually quite a few "dwarf-planets" now.

There are a lot of "documentaries" that claim an awfull lot about mayian "knowlege". Most are hype. Planet x refers to the idea that there had to be other planets beyond pluto based on math. And yes, lo and behold, there are at least 2 that we know of, planetoid objects like pluto, now named Erris and Sedna, they are far out in the Keyper belt. There is much rumor and fancy about "planet x" and many perort that it is actualy called "Nibiru",aplanet that is suposed to have a highly eliptical orbit and comes through the solar system every 3600 years. Many perport it is actualy on the way in now out by neptune and due here around 2012. I can assure you none of that is true however. Were there a planet there, it would be easily seen not only by the hundreds of thousands of amature astronomers, but it would be visible to the naked eye by now.
