I don't do requests!

I swear that is the look my daughter gives me when I try to get her to do something that I think it cool that she knows when other people are around. She can count to 10 all by herself, but if you ask her to do it then she won't. She sings and dances all the time, but if you ask her to she won't. Do your kids do requests or are they more like my daughter and refuse to do it?

My son is like that too. It really sucks because you get the distinct impression that people do not believe you or that they think you are exaggerating. He is 3 and he can sign the pledge af allegiance, name all of the continents, count to 10 in english and spanish....and even sign his name. Will he do it for anyone outside the house!? NO...LOL

That is funny. It reminds me of when my parents would try to get me to do things for people in front of company. I was always too shy, but my sister was always ready and willing to show off anything she could do. Come to think of it, she is still kind of like that.
