it seems when the dynamite was put to commercial use after 1860's the world saw a new era of mining and building. There were about 1.2B people on the planet. The natural resources on land, sea and air was perceived as "limitless".
In less than 200 years, mankind has learned that it is good:
- to put an end to war
- to continue medical research to avoid/cure disease and infant mortality
- to make new products and services for better results
- to stop killing the planet while nurturing "economic growth"!
There are now more than 6B people on the planet. It seems automation has eliminated so much employment opportunities. We better get new ideas to provide employment to more people fast.
Where are we really headed? any comments?
