honey for cough

i keep on searching the enternet about the natural medicine for cough, since my daughter is always having a bad cough and vomitting specially at night then i encounter this honey as good natural remedy for cough..it works ..how about you guys have you tried honey?pls share

Hello marketing friend. I am glad to know that honey works in helping reduce the chance of cough. In fact, I also tried this before and it worked. Honey is indeed a very natural remedy for cough. I hope that your child is recovered from coughing by now. Good luck, friend.

Hi Marketing, I used to suffer with croup as a child and I was always given honey, lemon, butter and sugar mixed into a paste and it worked wonders. I have always used warm honey with lemon for my children whenever they had coughs. Huggles. Ellie :D

My mom used to give me a solution of honey,ginger & juice of Basil leaves when i had a cough. It worked good for me. Honey as u have mentioned probably acts by soothing your throat by coating it & there is less irritation. You can give it a try for your child...but why not buy a cough syrup for your child with consultation from a doctor. May be she would be having chrinic bronchitis...

hello uditpanda,oh yes i always consult to the doctor about her cough and they only prescibed so much medicine ...and still my daughters cough doesnt improve so i search for a natural healing.thanks for your response.happy newyear
