As some of you know, i traveled over the holidays. 13 states in 3 1/2 weeks, and half of that in the past 4 days. i finally got back home yesterday at 3:30. the visit to texas was great but seems like a blur now lol. i have over 1500 pics to edit, and unpacking to do, but first i took down the christmas tree this morning, and have packed away the decorations from downstairs.
has anyone put away their decorations and taken down the tree?
do you ever feel like it was all a blur when you get home from traveling?hope everyone here had a great christmas and a happy new year.

I don't get to travel much. Usually I just go to see my mom. We were going to put away the tree and decorations last night, but with a newborn, we never found the time. Hopefully we will get to it tonight. My son was born on 12/10/08. So this holiday season has been a blur for sure. Diapers, sleeplessness, my 5 year old. And there were presents in there somewhere.

Welcome home. Glad your trip was a safe one and that you got to go and see your parents, Lindsey and Brooklyn. Did your dad try to go home with you? LOL

tell them i said hi. he didn't try to go home with me, but i wasn't sure he or mom was going to let go when we were saying our goodbyes. that was the hardest part of the trip. the best part of the trip was before christmas.......dad gave me his hand-painted army jacket from when he was in okinawa. i've wanted it since in my teens! there were tears when i got their and when we left, but it was all soooo worth it! even being away from d.w.

Hey palonghorn! Welcome home! That was quite a vacation that
you had! That's alot of states to have visited in only
3 1/2 weeks! No wonder it is just a blur! That must have been
a very tiring trip! You must be exhausted! And you came home
and put away your Christmas tree and decorations already!
Wow! That's amazing! I only have a little tiny 2 foot tree
and I still haven't put it away yet! I hope you had a truly
wonderful time, as I am sure you did! I hope that we will
be able to see some of the pictures soon! Get some rest!
I'm sure that you must need it! And Happy New Year to you!

happy new year to you too. it was tiring, but the driving part was split up a bit. i drove from pa. to southern va. on the 10th. i was there at my daughter's til we left on the 15th for texas. that day we drove from va. through n. carolina, s. carolina, georgia, alabama, and mississippi. the next day we drove from mississippi to texas. i was there for two weeks. it was great getting to see my parents, sister, and youngest daughter (first time in two years) and my granddaughter (she was born last feb., was first time to see her). then we drove back to va. the 29th and 30th. i probably am exhausted lol i just haven't slowed down enough to let it all catch up lol. i'm planning on doing nothing this weekend (after the laundry is done this morning)lol. i will be sharing pics as soon as i get them edited, approx. 1600 pics to go through.
