Did You Get Clothes for Christmas?

Now that Christmas is over did you get any clothes from anyone? Did they get you the right size? I got a pair of pajamas from my parents that fit just right. My in-laws got my kids some clothes that are not the right size for them. This happens a lot because they never see them and never ask what size they wear. Do your clothes fit that you received?

I got pyjamas, sweaters, and t-shirts. They all fit, but I have been the same size for years, so it's pretty easy to get clothes that fit me. I bought clothes for some of my little cousins. I just buy one or even two sizes bigger than the child, and then they can grow into the clothes.

I agree, if the clothes are too big at least they will grow into them. However, if they're too small, then you're out of luck.

Hi there my friend Shar. I have received a T-shirt with sleeves from my mother but i was with her in the shop when she bought it, so i tried it before she bought it but she added it up to the Christmas present for me so it was a present.

Nothing wrong with trying on your gift first.

I got a nice gray sweater from my sister. It fit me perfectly and is really comfortable. I didn't think the style would suit me when I first saw it but it actually doesn't look too bad. I also got a jacket from my boss. It was also a perfect fit. I wouldn't be surprised if one of her kids actually checked out the size for my other jackets to see which one I wear. I liked it very much because it was black but it didn't have any pockets which was kind of a bummer. I like sticking my hand in my jacket pockets. Oh well, can't be too choosy. I also bought a some clothes for my brothers and I think the sizes were right. The only exception were the pants I got for my oldest brother. I think it was a bit too big for him but his reaction was way too funny when he first opened the gift. Everyone had a good laugh from it.

Sure did -- I got two tops. One was from my lovely cousin and it fit me perfectly (it helps that we're about the same age and we know what looks good on one another). The second one was from my aunt who gave me a t-shirt which I'm beginning to think would be a bit small for me. Obviously, I haven't tried it on so I hope my guess is wrong about it being a wee small. For what it's worth, I asked my sister what size of tops my niece wears before I bought anything for her. It would be such a waste if she couldn't wear it and I'd be sad if that happened.

Yes, I think it's just common sense to ask what size the person wears first. I don't know why some people don't.

My mother in law bought me a nice outfit for Christmas but it was several sizes too big. The size she bought would have fit me several months ago but I have lost some weight since she saw me last. I was so glad to see that she put the gift receipts in the boxes so I will be going today to see if I can find something that will fit me better. I really liked the pants she picked out so I hope they carry them in a smaller size, lol, about 4 sizes smaller.

Dear friend, I was presented with two shirts by my parents and about 12 shirts and 2 TShirts from my relatives. I too brought clothes as gifts for my parents and my relatives. Almost every Christmas I had received clothes.

I did not get anything other than a gorgeous robe for clothing this year. I wish i had as I very seldom buy myself clothing. But the money was not there this year so it was a pretty frugal Christmas. Here is hoping that things improve financially this year and i may be able to go shoping! lol

I only give clothes to people who's sizes I know. And yes, I got a sweater for Christmas. I wasn't keen on the style and the color, so I had it returned to the store. I just picked out something else I like more. :) This year I only got a sweater, but in other years I always get more clothes.

No, but I wish I did get clothes for Christmas. It's hard for people to know my sizes and even I have a difficult time buying for myself.

I got a TON of clothes. I got mainly sweaters, socks, plaid shorts, sweatshirts, and more!!! I felt like all I got was clothes. And don't you hate it when you get clothes, but they are WAY to big to wear, and you ask the people that gave them to you why, and they say,"So you can grow into them." I hate that!!!

Personally, I got a few clothes that fit pretty nice. But that is about it. A nice dress, jacket, and pants to match. My eldest got some clothes and money to boot, but that is about it. I will probably see them tommorrow when she gets back from her father.

I did not get any clothing for Christmas. My kids did though. My daughter got a Wall-E t-shirt and my son got 2 Ben 10 t-shirts and a new winter coat. I rarely if ever get clothing as a gift from anyone.

Well, I got a pair of jeans given by my sister. It was a perfect fit. I think she is very much familiar with my size that is why it was very much fitting for me.

My parents bought me pajamas too! They know my size though because I'm their daughter and they fit perfectly. My younger sister bought me a blouse and she got the size right as well. Those were the only clothes I got for Christmas. I bought my boyfriend clothes for Christmas, but he wears all kinds of sizes for shirts because sometimes he likes shirts to be big on him, but other times he likes shirts that fit just right. Boys are weird. Haha

I think everyone gets socks for Christmas. It must be some kind of weird tradition. I got a pair of jeans. A nice long sleeved shirt that I love. I got,ask you could guess, some socks. That's about it. Oh, I got some pajama bottoms. They're more for lounging around I guess.
