Gifts on NewYear day bring luck!!!!!!!

Do you think that getting gifts on newyear day will bring you luck for the rest of the year.I got Christmas gifts from my friend in USA on newyear day.I got a favourable judgment of the case I argued last year on the newyearday.I got congrajulations from my senior and friends on new year day.So I think 2009 will be a great bountiful year for me.What about you?

Good for you. I am not quite as surperstious as that, believing in such luck. But if you
do that is good for you. Whatever works is good. If it makes you feel that you are
going to have a good year because of it, than that is all that is important.
I didn't do all that much on New Year's day but spend it with my husband. We pretty
much stayed on bed most of the day, since he was leaving the day after to go back
home. We aren't living in the same city at the moment and he was here for christmas
and new years and it was great. I took the week off between the two holidays so we
had a lot of time together.

Hi Cosmo,
Unfortunately I haven't received any gifts either on Christmas or on New Year except the good wishes from friends and relatives. So I prefer not to believe the same (lol). I am glad to know about your achievement in professional level. Congratulations for the same and wish success in the whole year. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful year.
