Cosplay at Anime Convention

Okay, when you go to an anime or manga convention, or even comiket or whatever it's called, do you or do you not cosplay? This year I hope to go to a London convention because that will be my first major convention and I want to cosplay. I actually don't fit any manga character except Mikuru Asahina from Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya/Haruhi no Yuutsu and Renge from Ouran Highschool Host club. I just want to go to the convention to cosplay and meet new people and hopefully to NOT get lost. Have you guys ever been to a major anime convention, if so, what is it like, please tell me cos' I REALLY wanna go.

I've been going to anime conventions for about four years now, mainly three that take place in the U.S. During my time I've cosplayed as Rinoa Heartilly, Yuna, Lenne, Misa Amane, Aerith Gainsborough, Mio, Female Squall aaaannnd a few others I can't remember right now. Cosplaying is amazing and anime conventions are the one place that will make you feel ashamed for not dressing in costume. They are a blast though and I really hope you enjoy your convention. X333

Ooh! I still have to figure out who to cosplay as, though, maybe vampire Yuuki Cross from VK!!!

wow lol. I think I tapped a few shoulders to take a picture of (with my friends' camera) and tapped a few shoulders to hug peoples. Everyone was giving out free hugs, lol!
My first real convention was so much fun!

i did cosplays before...i did Tidus(FFX) and Scott Summers (X-Men Evolution) here in the philippines.
It's so fun especially when kids notice the character you're cosplaying...its a nice feeling...

I go to three major anime conventions every year. They are insanely fun and you will meet some of the nicest people on the planet there. You will most likely get lost, so bring a cell phone, water, and SNACKS!!!! Cosplaying especially is fun since you get a lot of people asking for pictures. I hope you have fun^^

Sometimes i cosplay, sometimes i dont (if i do, its edward elric, as shown in my dp)
It just feels good to cosplay but if you dont its fine. I actually plan to not cosplay this year (just casue when you wear it, it gets kinda hot xD)
