i like watching movies ..same goes with my hubby ..but sometimes there are some movies which we prefer to see or wait to be available in dvd's and watch it at home rather than in big screen....what we usually like seeing in big screens were those movies starred by well known actors/actresses..i mean our favorite international actors such as Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis and among others...what about you guys?

For me, I never like to watch it on Big siver screens. I wait for the movie to come to the DVDs so, that I can rent it and watch. In my childhood, I was quite a fond of it and used to go to the theaters every week but these days that passions has been gone and I am quite happy to watch them at home

i guess some people as they grow mature prefer watching movies at home..or as you tend to get busy with work..

Yea, may be. Another reason is that now, I read review of a movie after it gets released. I read the whole story and I get to what this movie is all about, so, I think knowing the story drvies me to a thought that if I know the whole story, why should I go and watch it?

I 'd like to watch family type movies at home gathered around the television set in the living room eating popocorn and a soft drink. I 'd like to watch action movies that involve a lot of special effects on the big screen

Hello vanities, I love watching movies too. When I was single (or even in a relationship) I loved to watch movies at the cinema. I went to the cinema like two or three times a week. I even had a hattrick in a day where I watched three movies consecutively (in and out of the cinema for three times until the person in charge could recognized my face and ended up paying $10 for 10 hours parking in a shopping mall) After having a son, I have no choice but to watch DVDs at home. My husband and I love to watch two movies in a night. We always set a time to watch - 9 pm on Wednesday & Friday and 11pm on Saturday!

I also love watching movies! When I have free time, I spend it with a movie marathon. Since I'm busy with so many things, I don't go to cinemas to watch movies. I'll also wait for the DVDs to be available and watch it but there are exceptions. If it's the movie of Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith, Angelina Jolie or Jackie Chan, I'll be rushing to watch it in the big screen even though it means me watching those movies alone. =)

The movie has to be really interesting to me. I usually just watch movies that have a lot of hype about them before they come out in theaters. I don't really go to the movies much unless I really want to watch the movie because movies are really expensive now. I can usually wait the extra few months for the movie to come out on DVD

I don't usually watch movies for the actors, rather for the story lines. If a movie looks like it'll have a good story line, then I'll watch it, otherwise I'll pass on it. If a moey is all the rage, and everyone's talking about it, then I likely won't watch it, because I am not interested in following a trend.

In my opinion there's a lot of crap out there being made into movies, so I'm kind of a wait and see type person when it comes to movies, I guess. I know what I like, and they're not making the type of movies I like right now, lol. That, and the price of going out to see one at a theatre are drawbacks for me. Me and my husband will usually watch something on Sci-Fi channel or TMC that we've seen before. I don't care for the newer actors and actresses, either.
