I didn't really over eat this season, but we have been having a lot of veggies, and not much sweets.

Amazing, not really, though I respect the decision to be one.

I always seem to overeat during the holidays. I try to take a little bit of everything but even that's a little too much. We always incorporate veggies into our meals. I always have a salad for lunch and we start our evening meals with a salad as well. When I'm planning weekly menus, I try to incorporate 9-11 servings of veggies into our meals each day.

Hey vanities! I don't think that I ate any differently over
these holidays. Not really anyway! I made turkey dinner for
Thanksgiving. I made lasagna for Christmas and for New Year's
Eve I made beef stew and my girlfriend made a roast beef
which my boyfriend loves and he ended up eating some that
she gave him. So I really didn't eat anything out of the
ordinary. I made nice balanced meals with veggies and biscuits
and we didn't have alot of sweets. I just made a cake and
we had some ice cream. But, that was all. No Christmas candy
or cookies, which I was disappointed about!

i don't see any new things with new year except that we need to write 2009 instead of 2008 while signing our checques.
Otherwise this is same. We eat the same thing, if we have job we go to the same company. Do you see any changes? I don't see it.

So far the new year is going pretty good. Our first big project is to get my husband's paperwork in, so that he can become a landed immigrant here in Canada, so he will be able to stay up here with me, and not have to go back to the USA. That is going to take a bit of time and money, but it will be well worth the effort.

I love my veggies! We have at least one with every meal. Holiday meals just gives us motivation to make special dishes like asparagus, broccoli and cheese, green bean casserole, etc. On New Years Eve, we do appetizers and drinks. Guess what we went through the most? Veggies! We had fresh veggies, and that is what every body gravitated to!

I ate some of the best veggies I've had in a long time for Christmas dinner. New Years dinner was a little different, I think I might have only had veggies in a salad. But I ate some amazing seafood and tons of tropical fruits.
