A Bad Experience In A PTC Site

Philippines
January 3, 2009 6:29am CST
My Wife and I joined a PTC site last month. We have reached $3.00 up in that site. We have different accounts. Different emails and account info like credit cards. The site stated in their terms that We can have different accounts in our household. We have a Local Area Network here at Home. I'm a freelancer Computer Technician and My job is to build Computer Units and Networks :) and She's a Call Center Agent in a Company here. Recently our accounts get banned. Lol! Their site told us that We are cheaters! WTF! OMG! We were members for Months there doing clicks! I'm just a simple guy living here in the Philippines looking for EXTRA INCOME over the internet. Although it's only a small cash, I've notice that My Wife is so disappointed. Site name? Adverbux

Hi Kabayan! I agree with ansonkelvin. There are sites that allow only one member per household. The site probably have thought that there is only one person using two accounts since you are using the same computer. Anyway, just be patient and try to read throught the site's terms and condition first so that you will not be called cheater or something like that.

Almost every site mentioned in their FAQ only one member can join from a household. I think somehow that site came to know it, probably from credit cards. Before join a site must search for the scam list. Check whether that site is included.

I am sorry you had a bad experience with this place, but thank you for spreading the word about them. With times being so hard for many people, a lot of us are looking for extra work online and it hard sometime to tell what is a scam and what isn't. There are some good sites out there for earning money. Unfortunately, the only way to know the difference is when others share there experiences.

ya, that's sad thing ,and quite weird ... many site are not allow have multi account with same ip. whatever is different people and like your case not a new's. so that's danger when you work's this on a public pc.. i know your feeling. i also get banned and scamm before. wasting time on it. but what can we do? admin on site just want to avoid people cheating and they have been cheat many ,this is the only way they easy to do. but i think maybe they should giving a limit ,like 2 account in 1 household something , that's maybe better.

If you can remember, it is not allowed to have more than 1 account using only 1 computer having the same IP address. Anyway, you might just forgotten it. Lol.

If you'll read their TOS, it says that anyone in the same household can join. They did not clearly state there that it should have different ip addresses. and imagine this... one household having different ip addresses... is that common? you can check it out for yourself... Just for the record this is what I've read in their site about this. On the FAQ Area: Can other people in my household join? Yes. However, they cannot sign up on your referral link. Also, accounts with same IPs are monitored extremely closely for abuse. On The TOS Area: 3)You may refer other household members to the program; however, they need a personal email address and Alertpay/PayPal address different than your own. Clear? Cheers!
