what time do you go to sleep?

i usually go to sleep sharp at 11.00pm at night. i try my best to bring the least of variation in this time. still sometimes it gets a bit early and even late sometimes. i usually complete all my chores in time, by 10pm, and do some light reading before going to bed. what time do you go to sleep? is it necessary to go to sleep at a fixed time? what is your opinion about this...

I was going to bed at about 10 pm every night but lately I have started watching moives and it can get to be about 1 in the morning before I end up going to bed now. I need to start going to bed at 10 again as the kids will be going back to school Tuesday.

hi,thank you for your valuable response.so your are a married person. your are supposed to go to bed much earlier because of the responsibilities you have.anyway if you can manage it,then why should i have any problem. by the way what kind of movies do you like ?

My usual time to go to sleep is between midnight and 2am. But there are times when I'm sick, when I go to bed earlier than that. There are also times when I can't fall asleep and I fall asleep later than that. It really depends on my moods and how I feel. However those are the times that I usually try to go to bed.

hi,dear friend.thanks for your invaluable response.i agree with you.i have also faced similar problems.at times when i go to bed early i don't get sleep. also if i go to bed too late this problem exists.sleep doesn't come when we want it,rather it comes when we need it.so keep rolling on your bed from one side to another & wait for some sleep.

hello friend.thank you for responding. I am of the same habit. This mylot thing has become so addictive that i am too habituated to sleep late in the night. That makes me wake up late too. Have a nice time at mylot.

Whatever is working needs rest and human body is no exception for this and our body gets rest when we are sleeping. So, sleep that too for a fixed period of time on regular basis is good for your health. I have felt in life that after a good sleep i feel more energetic and more active. Regular sleep is necessary for those who are doing basic office kind of work because (as in my case) i sit in front of computer for long period of time and it is very strenuous, but after a sound sleep when i wake up i feel completely relaxed and active.

hello.thank you for your response. firstly happy new year.yeah i agree with you. sleep does energizes us & relaxes. being a student i hardly get any time to sleep.but i still manage to sleep. but do you really think it is possible to take sleep at the right time every day ?

Hello there! When not working, I usually stay up late. If I am not waiting for someone in the chat then definitely, I am done by 10 in the evening sharp. I am sleeping in my bed but if I not, I sleep around 3 in the morning. At that point, I just do chatting or doing mylotting! No, for me it is not necessary to sleep on time unless I need to go to work tomorrow morning hehehe. Thanks for the discussion. Happy Mylotting! Cheers! ==

I usually go to sleep around 11pm at night. I sometimes sleep late due to surfing Internet. I hope I can sleep early because health is ready important.

i don't have fixed time to sleep. i just sleep when i efel to or when i feel that i have done enough for the day. sometimes i feel sleepy already but still wanted to stay in front of the computer more. mostly i sleep at 10 pm when i feel bored already being online. but wheni see many itneresting topics here in mylot i will opst till the morning like 2 am.

I will be sleeping anytime soon. For this year I don't want to sleep really late so that I can wake up early and not to be late for work. I will try my best to sleep not later than 12 MN.

more often then not it seems like i never get to sleep. i have a 2 year old that for some reason only takes good naps, but then does not sleep good at night. and of course when he takes nap is when i have time to do stuff i need to do like clean house, sew etc. so I am exhausted.

i usually go to sleep at +/- 9pm but past few week i cannt sleep well. i dont know why. because of that i had headache n migraine all days n so i take alot of medecine for sleep well n dont feel any pain. merry xmas n happy new year

Hi abhi22m. You know, I work for a Business Process Company and I have a night shift. During monday to friday, I sleep during the day, around 11AM until 8PM, it was 9 hours if you count it, but you know, since my body was used to sleeping during the nights, I am never quite satisfied. During weekends, I sleep whole day saturday, like you know, I am so comfortable sleeping during the afternoon, when I am so tired and then wake up the next day which is Sunday. As what I know, it is good that we sleep during the night, since it was the time when are cells are being fixed. It is also necessary to get an 8 hr sleep as this is what requires our body and brain to function well.

When I have work tomorrow, I usually go to sleep at 10:00pm-11:00pm. But when I don't have work for tomorrow, I watch TV or do anything until I got sleepy and go to bed at 1:00am-3:00am.

If I don't have work for tomorrow, I usually watch TV until I got sleepy by watching. Usually I slept at 1:00am-2:00am dawn. But when I have work for tomorrow, I usually sleep from 10:00pm-11:00pm.

that depends on how awake i am. But on average i sleep at around 2am to 3am each day and wake up at latest 12pm. I know and have been constantly nagged at by my mum about my sleeping habits. Apparently our cells start to regenerate itself at about 11pm - 2am. And it only works best when you're resting. BUt if we're awake, our cells are unable to restore itself. SoooO.. now i've been trying to sleep early but.. well.. i'm still trying..

I go to sleep very late at night, usually between 12MN and 1AM. It's because i've been doing a lot of things: Reading, Playing chess against computer, Building our business, and a lot of stuffs. They say that the human brain regenerates between 10PM and 6AM, so that was the ideal time to sleep. But for me, i maintain at least an average of 6 hours of sleep to have enough rest and so not to kill myself. :)

Now that I am on vacation, I sleep at 1am. Once I get back to school, I need to get settle and sleep according to a set schedule. It would be good if you have a fixed time. My mom sleeps at a certain time. It's more healthy for you.

I usually go to sleep not at a fixed time.sometimes at 11:00,sometimes at 12:00.Although i want to sleep early,in our dorm they are playing very late.So i have to go back late.
