Even as a child I was never fond of walking around in my bare feet. When I am at home I wear socks or house slippers and when i go outside I always wear shoes. My husband is a country boy, so he will go outside in his bare feet with no problem. I just don't like the idea of my feet getting so dirty. So do you go outside in your bare feet?

Only in the Summer months or when the heating is on will I go bare! I hate having shoes of any sort indoors, I like the air to get to my feet, as they can get very sweaty in socks or shoes all day, I do have slippers which I wear indoors, but there's something 'free' about going around the home barefooted, I never go outside barefoot, not that I wouldn't want to, it's just all the dirt etc you can pick up and tread indoors. I am actually sitting here as we speak barefoot, but only because it's lovely and warm with the central heating on!

I do dare when the weather is nice and the grass is green. I'd walk barefoot on the beach with no second thought
As to everyday surroundings,I don't like to get my feet dirty either and I don't want to have calloused feet. I also tend to think of all the doggies and ants that took a walk in that grass earlier

I will go barefoot. I have gone outside without shoes and it doesn't bother me much as long as I can walk in the grass or something and not spend too much time walking on stones. At home I usually go bare foot or wear a pair of flip flops around the house. It is just more comfortable to go barefoot sometimes. It ables me to relax more.

I don't typically go outside barefoot, however, I am often times barefoot around the house (or else I wear my crocs because they're just comfortable and feel good on my "dancers' feet!"). If it's just for a very short time and I won't be walking a long distance, such as to go get the mail, I may go barefoot. I would never go out in the yard or down the street in my bare feet, however.
Sometimes I dance in my bare feet if I am doing a dance where no specific kind of shoes are required, but that is rare also.

I'm the opposite: I hate shoes! I'll wear socks indoors if it's cold, but mostly go barefoot around the house. I'll happily go outside with bare feet, too. When I lived at my parents' house (back when I was young and dinosaurs roamed the Earth), I would even walk into town barefoot to go shopping and so on - and that was four miles away!
