yuck no I am having to use a phone that has a cord and I have to sit right next to it. I hate that . I am so used to walking around and doing stuff while on the phone and now I can't. I won't be able to get a new phone for a couple of weeks. No money right now so i will just have to buckle up and use this phone and like it!!

All three of the phones we have hooked up are cordless phones, so when the power goes out I have to dig out a corded phone from the back shelf in the pantry in order to use the phone. I hate it. The cord is so short you are stuck in one spot while you talk.

That is how this one is , the cord is so short that I actually have to hold the base up so I can reach the ear part to my head!!!!

Hey, We had a cordless phone at our house! But the thing that kinda sucked was that after about a year the phones battery sucked SOO much that the phone would only last about 3 hours of talk time and then you needed to charge it again! Then we got so frustrated that we ripped that battery out of it hoping that we would buy a new battery. But of course, we didn't! Instead we bought a new set of cordless phones which are much better. I feel your pain sweetpeasmom and I know how it is to be stuck next to the telephone with the cord! Hope you buy a new one soon!

I hate corded phones they can be a real pain! Do you have a thrift store near? I have seen cordless phones at thrift stores for about .50 cents before! Otherwise they can be a little expensive in the stores! I hope you get a new cordless phone soon otherwise happy you have a phone to talk on.

Have you thought of check goodwill or salvation army? They have phones their, albeit their a bit old but they might have some cordless phones there that will work until you get a new cordless phone.

That is sad. I also have live my life cord phone instead of a cordless. I prefer a WLL phone which runs on battery and can be carried while talking.

Hi, I have a corded phone right on my desk, 2 actually one is a fax machine and the other is an older phone I still have but I have a cordless near by. In my room I have 3 phones one corded and 2 cordless. Why I have so many I don't know but the corded one can still work if the power goes out just has to be connected to the phone jack.

You have my sincerest sympathies. I don't even use the corded phone in our house. I make sure I keep both the cordless phones charged. I don't even use my cellphone if I have it hooked to the charger. I like to have my freedom when I am on the phone.
