Brand New Granddaughter!

Well yesterday morning Jan.2 09 at 7:30 A.M. Our newest family member was born. She is as beautiful as i thought she would be And I couldn't wait to share how happy i am to be Gramma again. She was 7lbs 14.1 ozs and 20 inches long.She seems to be in great health and already has her daddy and poppop wrapped around her little finger. heheh her daddy and other grandma was so happy they went and bought her mama a new washer, dryer and dishwasher and she wont know until she gets home.
I took her big brother to meet her today, he didnt seem very Impressed and kind of upset. I was wondering if anyone here on mylot has any ideas how to make a big brother more comfortable with a new baby in the family. He is 2 yrs old, a mamas boy more than anything else . Any Ideas will be appreciated.

First of all Congratulations and all the best for the little Princess
As for Big Brother, well when mine where that young, I involved my Boy in everything with the Baby
He got to hold her to of course I was sitting next to him, my Boy was 3 when his Sister was born and no he was not happy at first but with attention and getting him involved and telling him that Mummy still loves as much as before he did come round eventually
Love, patients and let him feel he is the big Brother should help along the way
