Have you tried drinking beer through a straw? / myLot

A friend told me that drinking beer through a straw will increase your chances of getting drunk faster. I don't know if this is true. Is there an explanation to this?

I am not exactly sure, but I think that if you drink through a straw your drinking faster and the liquid has more bubbles in it, thus affecting your inner organs in some way. That's how I'd explain this. It is certainly true, because I've tested it, but never really found the good reason.
