My grandmother died on new years eve

Not a great way to start new year at all. New years morning I got a call that my grandmother passed away. She ment a lot to me and it makes me really sad that I have lost her. Plus I cant say good bye to her. she is in Europe and we are in Australia. At the moment she died me and my family were on holiday and my father took the first plane back to Europe for the funeral. Aparently she wasnt doing great for few weeks but my family decided not to tell me as I am pregnant I dont know if that helped or not but I feel great loss for her. And I am sorry that she will never see my child. My older son loves her and when he saw me crying I told him that "baba Ljuba" (thats grandma Ljuba) is gone to heaven to be with God and the angels and thet she is going to look after him he said, dont cry mummy she just broke her leg she will come back toomorow (we went on holiday to Europe this year and while we were there she broke her leg). Anyway she is gone now and I know that every new year eve I will be thinking of her.
