A famous quote from the movie GLADIATOR. All things happens for a reason. You are here, reading this, not by chance but for a reason. In everything we do, bear in mind that it will an effect in the future, in your future, the future of your family, friends, business associates, and even to some people you do not know, it can be a positive or a negative effect. And for this topic, What have you done that affected somebody else's life?

Sounds like the Butterfly Effect in Physics - where a flutter of a butterfly's wings can send a tsunami hurtling in a the other side of the ocean :P You're right that what we do affects everybody, even the people we never knew existed.
I actually try to keep myself from affective people too much. I have this thought that if I could, then I should muddle other peoples decisions because they're fairly capable of deciding what they want in life for themselves. However, I guess the very notion of people showing a sour face at something that you do already affects them - so pretty much everything I do affects everybody else! Personally though, I think that I'm most proud of pulling my boyfriend from the drinking binges he used to have before we were together :D

I think that's one of the most significant thing a GF can do that affects a BF's life. You did a good job.
