Favorite Sayings

Hi There! I have many favourite sayings but this is my saying right now “I can only please one person in a day, today is not your day and tomorrow is not looking good either” Why? I am so pissed at one of my officemates right now. She wants everyone to please her and do stuff for her. She is not our boss mind you… we are in the same level and I really cannot stand the fact that she is acting like that. I tried to just ignore her or just give way to what she wants but it is becoming abusive already so right after that, I really don’t give a damn on her. I don’t allow her to order me around when it is too much or not right to do. So, that is my saying right now. And I am happy and enjoying that saying because I do not really have to argue with anyone, I just show them that I cannot please them always. My favorite saying is "God didn't put my on the Earth to be a pomegranate." I made it up myself. It means that just because I have a disability it doesn't mean that I'm incapable. It's going to be my autobiography title one day. I also like "I was part of that strange race of people aptly described as spending their lives doing things they detest to make money they don't want to buy things they don't need to impress people they dislike" Emile Henry Gauvreay said that.

one of my favorites is rferring to someone that has acted a little strange is "they don't know whether they are washing or hanging out". have u ever heard that one??

I have plenty and it varies over time. I would like a particular saying today but on another day something would strike me and find another saying as very applicable. For now, i like this one best: "Do not kill someone else's fire, just to make your own light." Cheers, kittenskysong! =)
