I didn't make any 2009 New Year resolutions but after looking at the pictures of myself we took during the holidays, I hurried to the store because I needed a quick jump start to losing some weight-RIGHT NOW! I decided to try out a weight loss product called " alli " and I got a really good sale price on a special 2-pack for $49.00 equal to 2-month supply. Regularly $49 for 1-pack. The sales clerk at the store told me it was a good product for weight loss, which I had already been told by others. She said one of the Pharmacist tried it and lost weight on it. The kit includes a bottle of 90 capsules you take 3 times a day along with a multi-vitamin(sold separately), which I already take. It also comes with a stack of miniature help guides, calorie counter, journal and a carrying case for the capsules. I took my first capsule on Jan. 2, so this is my third day and I didn't notice any changes until the 2nd day. The stuff will send you to the bathroom everytime after you eat anything. I guess thats why they recommend taking a good multi-vitamin to replace any loss vitamins in your body. " Alli " aka " Orlista " works by preventing the absorption of some of the fat you eat. The fat passes out of your body, which may cause bowel changes. It is designed to help you lose 2-3 pounds for every 5 pounds you lose from your own weight loss plan. I have noticed that I'm not snacking all day and I made 7 trips to the toilet on my second day and I could actually see the fatty oil floating in the toilet bowl.(TMI) but thats what it does and it the truth. I also couldn't sleep after I took my vitamin before bedtime, unlike the night before when I took my vitamin in the morning, so I'll go back to taking my vitamin in the morning instead. I got on the scale this morning anto weight myself and I loss a pound. I eat 3 meals a day plus a snack or two. I watching what I eat and I drink lots of water during the day and I'm slowly adding exercise to my program. This doesn't give me jitters either like those other products out there. So far I'm liking this one. Warning: Always check with your Doctor before starting any type of weight loss program.

Keep me updated and maybe if you can loose some weight on it I might try it. Right now I'm trying weight watchers, but it's hard counting points for everything you eat and drink.
