Frozen groceries

I came home really late last night, was way past midnight and freezing cold (over -12° Celsius). I was returning from my holidays so was really tired from all the driving I did over the day and all I was able to think of was my warm bed :) So as you might already guessed I left some groceries in the trunk of my car and by morning when I took them out they were all frozen. Now Im a bit worried. I know meat and bread and stuff is not a problem obviously lol, but honestly I have no idea what freezing does to cooking oil or eggs. Are those two things still ok to use after defrosting?

I think there's nothing to worry about. As far as I remember from my chemistry classes, as long as you defrost things carefully and slowly there's no problem, but if you do it fast (with microwave for instance) you might break some molecular bonds which will result in... well... ask experts :)

:)) thanks! I did leave them on the room temperature, the oil looks ok, so I guess it should be fine.
