How busy are you? Do you have time for rest? For play? For spiritual needs? I have enough spaces in mine for myself.

Hey there...My calender is usually very full...I work two jobs...Monday to Thursday I work 9 - 9, and Friday I work 9 - 3...AND on top of that I'm probably going to start working on Saturdays for five or six hours...So, any free time I do have, I like to spend time with my girlfriend, friends and spend time by myself listening to music, playing video games etc...

I am accustomed with a life full of overlapping schedules! But as I have mentioned earlier, I'm try to maintain a healthy work/rest balance during this 2009. But so far - within the first week - my situation has been more miserable. I have to complete my daily tasks, and at the same time I'm to take time out for entertainment. It has not turned out to be very much effective till now. And for me there is little option to reduce my existing work pressure. Confused!!!

I make sure that my gym training is fitted into the week, I like to go five times a week to keep myself fit, it's my hobby, it's my way of getting healthy both mentally and physically, I allot time to the computer, as well as reading and a little time for watching television. I like to be active and I never get bored, there isn't enough hours in the day to get bored. I am single so all the time I have is mine and I don't have to share it with anyone else.

Now that I'm out of a job I do! But when I was working and in school it felt like I didn't even have time to do the dishes let alone rest...

well though my calender has nothing written on it, i can't call myself free, the work for daily routine is so much that i dont need extra stress, rather i pray to God that there should be no need of doctor's appointment or for spiritual needs. I am only having some marriages to attend and that i dont write...the cards are there to remind me of the occassions..

I'm usually not that busy, except during holidays and birthdays of friends or relatives. Normally, I have time to relax and rest, but only for a few hours at max per week. I have enough time for play, but this time is usually combined with relaxing and sleeping. I don't really have any spiritual needs, so I don't make time for that, but I could. Between everything, I'd say I have enough time for myself in general.

My calendar is not at all full because I am not a busy person. To be honest I think I have too much time to rest and play because I rather be doing something. So right about now I wish my calendar was full.

No matter how busy we are we need to have a certain amount of time for ourselves. Everyone should keep a calendar of their obligations so they don't over schedule. Only by being balanced and allowing time for our own spiritual and recreational needs will we prosper.
