Its yummy if that the quality of cooking and handling is at its best. I'd rather have them made at home rather than having those from the streets which do not offer you the cleanliness and quality of the cooked street food. I seldom buy them and eat them from the streets from now.

I like Isaw and Kwek kwek. But Calamares triggers my taste buds the most! I can't get enough of those crunchy squid rings with only my fifty pesos. Sometimes, I'm even thinking of asking the vendor if he sells rice because IT really is delicious! Fish balls, Adidas and Helmet(Chicken's Head) are those street foods I don't like to eat. For me, fish ball signifies a sponge. Why? 'Cause you're like eating 60% flour and 40% oil. Adidas and Helmet -- it's just too much. I don't even know how to eat those! Haha!

Eating this kind of foods is so yummy, but buying this on street is not safe for we don't know if they prepare it clean and safely.I used to eat street foods but when my brother in law got sick because of this i refrain eating on it.

Hello there ckyera! It depends on the place and also the vendor. Some vendors are so messy preparing their food. I love those street foods. Infact, I really miss it.

Street foods? Definitely yummy. Not safe to eat? Well, there are health risks involved if the vendor is untrusted and food handling is an issue on street foods. I eat street foods whenever I have the urge.

I used to eat fish balls with gusto when i was in grade school... but lost interest as i grew older... no one really told me that street food ar unsanitary... i just prefer to eat food indoors rather than out in the street...

I do eat street foods specially kwek kwek. I buy when I see a vendor but I dont use or take the sauce from them. I make sauce at home to make sure of my health. Before I buy I see to it that the food is cooked well and if the containers or utensils used are clean. If not I go to other vendor where its safer.

Hello There! It depends on the vendor and how it is being cooked. To tell you honestly, I love buying ISAW or barbeque then some quail eggs (kwek kwek) in some street vendor but when I was diagnosed of having Amoebiasis, I stopped buying street foods… or I am really careful in choosing the food that I eat. The safest way is to cook it at home or buy it from someone you know that it is clean. I stopped eating isaw by the way coz I knew that that is where I got it… With other things, like quail eggs, calamares and other stuff, my mom makes them every Sunday or every time we crave for it. Hehehe… Thanks for the discussion! Happy Mylotting and have a great day ahead! Cheers!

I eat those street foods if they are sold inside malls of even outside as long as they look good and the seller, the surrounding and the food itself is clean. It does not necessarily mean that street foods are being sold on streets right? They were just called by that name because they originated from the street but if I were to define them, better say finger foods. That's all!

it will be yucky if the vendor is yucky. but if the vendor has a good reputation on selling street foods, then theres nothing to worry about. but dont eat more of it. most of the street foods, most especially bbq foods have a higher risk of carcinogens which will cause you of canscer so you should be aware of that. eat moderately, dont rely on street foods as your daily food. eat right, earn right.

your right! they all taste good. yucky if the place is so dirty and the seller it self. we should be aware on the surroundings and the appearance of the seller. by just looking at those two thing we can say that it's safe or it's not.

I like eating street foods. I think it taste good. The grilled foods like barbecue, isaw, balat, tenga, adidas and the like should be included in your list. I think the safety issue of it depends on the seller. Some prepare their food clean enough so that their consumers would not get any bad effects on their health. I really like eating those kind of foods. I even crave for it sometimes.
