i made cookie with just the left overs in my house. i didn't bought anything from the market and i took ahrdly 15 minutes to do the whole thing. it was so easy, fast and tasty. here is the recipe and i think everyone ho carries interst in cooking and baking will love to try their hands in this. here is the recipe. 5 cups of flour 2 cups of sugasr 1 cup of brown sugar 2 tbsp baking powder 2 tsp salt 1 cup solid vegetable shortening 1/2 cup butter in a large bowl combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, bakingh powder and salt. mix well untill blended. cut in shortening and butter with a pastry blender, two knives or your hands until the mixture resembles cornmeal and shortening and butter are evenly distributed. store in the refrigerator in a tightly covered container for upto 12 weeks . when you wanna make cookies measure the amout needed and let it come to room temperature and bake some of it. isn't it easy.
