I will panic, then get under a table, then goto the streets and wait for an hour or so. I don't think that I will be able to sleep then. Then I will take some snaps and post them on my blog. Then I will call my friends and tell them about this incident. Then sleep again.

I'll probably get out of bed, panick for a few seconds, look for a sturdy table, hide under the table, go outside, panick for another few seconds, get in the car, get out of the car, go outside the house, go in the middle of the street, look for a place without anything that might fall on me, find there's no such place, go back inside the car, get out of the car, go back to the house, get under the table again, go back to my room, and hide under the bed.
I don't really like earthquakes.
have a good one.

I will shudder during that time and as the shaking is over I will run to the room where my daughter is sleeping to see whether she is alright. If she is frightened I will comfort and assutre her with the help of my wife and make her to go to bed .The I will switch on the TV to see if there is any news flash and warning about the earth quake. If everything is OK I will curse my stars which disturbed the peaceful sleep and hit the sack again.

hi moon...we've not had earthquakes here but when there is bad weather like tornadoes we keep in contact with family inside the house and have talked with the neighbors. then decide what to do.

this has never happened to me because i live in the middle of the midwest BUT i would probably run and hide under a desk or jump in the shower. OR go in the doorway? i dont even know i would probably panick and do something really stupid and end up being killed my falling items. theres a movie that i LOVE about earthquakes...or maybe it was about a volcano? but it was real good. ANYWAYS i wouldnt know what to do. thats my answer!

That already happened to me around 3 times! I experienced it first when I was about 11 years old and what I did, together with my 2 other sisters we knelt and prayed embracing each other. We were really scared as we felt the earth really shaking so hard.
Then the other 2 times happened when I was already married. Those two times were not as scary as the first because being an adult, I already knew of course that I need not be scared that much because there is God anyway who is in control of everything. In times like that, all I can ever do is just pray and ask God's mercy so that He could protect me and my loved ones. No matter what happened I know He will never leave me nor forsake me so I need not be afraid.

thanks for this nice reply.
