Do you prefer felines with short or long fur?

I have had several cats throughout the years of my childhood. Most of which were tabby cats with a moderate length of fur. Right now I have two cats at my dad's house. One is a black and white cat male with long, fluffy fur. The other is a female grey cat with fairly short fur. I truly adore both of them, but sometimes the fur from the black and white cat is a bit frustrating. I find the hair everywhere on my clothes and sometimes in my eye! There are different ways to help remedy such things like brushing the feline's coat to rid of excess fur. But, I suppose it just does not bother me to the extent where I have to sit him down and brush him. What are your preferences?

I adopted a cat from the shelter a year ago when she was a kitten, and I was surprised when her fur started getting really long. Her tail bushed out first, and I thought, well, that' okay, because my other cat has a bushy tail, but he's a short hair. about 6 months ago she started sprouting really long hair..the surprising thing to me is that she doesn't shed much, not like the other cat. So it doesn't bother me if its short or long hair.

Oh i see. when I hadn't been around my cats for a long while and returned to visit them and my dad, I had allergies later that day
