Do you prefer stylish phones or phones that are more durable?

New phones on the market aren't always the most durable as opposed to older models that are thicker and made of different material. Phones that are very slim can be broken fairly easily if dropped when opened. Slider phones with touch pads buttons can lose their functionality or just not function as well after much use. I can admire a very stylish and new model cell phone, but if an older model is more durable then I would have to choose that one since I can be a bit clumsy. Sure older models aren't always more durable, but in my experience slim phones and slider phones aren't always the way to go if you're clumsy like me.

I have a nokia phone, a slider, and it's both stylish and durable. I prefer slim phones to durable ones as i seldom drop my phone and they take up less bag space. I like sturdy buttons rather than the touch ones. Those touch pads feels too small to type fast and are harder to see. And the mobile screen can get dirty easily from finger prints. I recently changed from a durable LG phone to the slim Nokia one and the buttons are less noisy and less clumsy.

I prefer durable phones, because styles come and go, but durability stays. There are a few good and extremely durable handsets in the black and white model from Nokia. They are just awesome when it comes to performance. Thus you will see that in this market of Hi-tech phones, those models like Nokia 1100, are still selling like hot cake. The reason is durability.

Hey,
That is a very hard question you have just asked. In my opinion, even though that the nice stylish and slim type phones might break alot easier, I would still prefer to have one instead of a phone that is more durable. I just don't know why, but I don't like the idea of not having a stylish phone and it being durable. It just doesn't work for me. To tell you the truth, I would rather have a slim phone such as the iPhone comparing with a nokia phone, say the older Nokia 6610i. Even though this Nokia 6610i is far better in durability and break resistant, it just doesn't feel that nice when you compare it with the sleek, shiny, slim iPhone 3G. Even the flip phones and especially the slider phones which are VERY easy to break (if you have it slided open then drop it) I would still prefer to have a better looking phone which isn't as durable than to have phones that are more durable. Hope this helps!

i prefer cellphones that are more durable than stylish cellphone...receiving messages and calls are of most important to me....although i admire people who is using a software cellphone but i am thinking on the negative side..what if i lost this cellphone and it is so very expensive or what if this cellphone will got damage? so it's very regretful to have stylish..i rather have cellphone who will stay longer in my hand.

Hello schwing! We feel the same. I will also choose a phone that is more durable. You're right, new designed phones today are very slim that I think would easily be broken. I will still want an old phone with a good quality. But of course not too old like having some antenna with it.

Hi there, okkay so now its about durability Vs technology. So, in this case what i would say or what i follow is i use two phone. One which i can rely upon and another which should be handled carefully(which am trying to do), the technology type. My permanent number will always be in the one which I can rely on. How is that idea :-)
