The music of Pink Floyd can be very soothing to me, and the album I used to go to sleep to every night was Dark Side of the Moon. I also used to go to sleep watching Dark Side of the Rainbow (wizard of oz synchronized to dark side of the moon.) i have also gone to sleep listening to Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother, and Wish you were here. The instrumental songs are most soothing and really put me at ease, sort of like a trance. Do you go to sleep to any Pink Floyd albums?

If you listen to the really smooth stuff it is almost hypnotic. I love the harmonic sounds that they make with various synths and strange instrument combos. Plus Waters' and Gilmour's voices can be very soothing in those dreamier higher octaves.

I could not say that i fell asleep listening to Pink Floyd, i'd better say that, miss the times me and my gang were gathering in a quiet place, and 1 of my best friends started to sing at the guitar Wish you were here(and other songs, but this one marked my life), and i was singing with voice...oohh, miss the summer..miss having a great time, and especially miss having free time, to spend with me friends, maybe when you come to romania, if u come, you'll go out with me and my gang(we are all peacefull) cheers.

i used to go to sleep to the final cut a lot. which was weird because that is really one of their most nightmare inducing albums. the best is getting laid while listening to dark side of the moon. the whole album really has the best ups and downs for the whole act. it truly is an emotional experience that i think should be experienced by all.

I used to go to sleep listening to Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here but it has been some time since I've done that.

Dark Side of the Moon is certainly one of the best. During the first lunar eclipse that I ever witnessed, the local college radio station played the entire album on air. It was great to lay out under the stars watching the eclipse and listening to the album. The only problem with falling asleep to Dark Side is when "Time" comes up and the cacophony of bells goes off, thus waking me up.:) "Great Gig in the Sky" more than makes up for that, though...it is really soothing.
