Do you believe in making new year resolution

After starting with a new year almost all of us have made some resolution. For 2009 you have made a list of what to do and what not to do. In 2008 also you had started with some resolution. Were you successful to fulfill your resolution? I wasn't successful. So we are just making some resolution because we are stepping in a new year. I don't think that it is a fruitful way for making a good change of yourself. We should make some resolution when we realize that something must be done. Then only we can get enthusiasm in fulfilling those resolution.

I usually make resolution, stick to some & ignore some. two years back i resolved to abstain from fried food for a year & did that.I gained a lot of satisfaction from sticking on to the resolution. These is one resolution i make every year & break every year."time spent on watching TV" I am sports lover & am just unable to take my mind away from live matches.Hopefully with myLot, my TV addiction will come down.

I hope that you will be successful. But if you are addicted on watching TV to such a level then you cannot leave it suddenly. You have to try gradually to reduce the time spent on TV watching.

I made resolutions for most of my life but I never went through with them, ever. It took me a long time to realize that when I want to stop or start something I don't need to wait for New Years. Also I have found that if I do wait until New Years I either forget about it or never stick with it. On the other hand if it's June and I decide to lose ten pounds I lose ten pounds in June and it works. I don't weight... Ha pun intended.

I started making new year resolution around 2 to 3 years ago. It helps me fulfil somethings that I want to do. Last year, I planned to study German on a daily basis. Although I partially failed (mostly because of my ever prolonged work hour...). I do think that setting up some resolution does help me a lot in planning my life better.
