Tips for you child's brain development : 1. Talk with your child often, even if his words and gestures are unclear. This will speed up his language development. 2. Differentiate night and day, hot and cold, near and far, big and small etc. These concepts easier for your 1 year old to grasp if you use props and gestures. 3. Raise his color-consciousness. Most children familiarize themselves with color at age 3, but pointing out different colors will enhance his learning experiece. 4. Give your child safe, varied environments to explore. A visit to the pet store or a leisurely walk in the part will raise his capacity for understanding by leaps bounds. 5. Encourage physical activity. A child's physical development is linked with his academic development in many ways.
