This is a recent photo of my Buster in his favorite spot to sit daily. It is on the back of the couch at the large picturew window in the living room. From here he can howl and whine at all the walkers, joggers, and dogs that pass his view. We seldom let him up here that oftewn due to the fact the couch is one that has very ouffy type cushions on the back. After he sits there a few minutes it becomes packed down and not very good or uniform looking. Other than here his next fave perch is in the lazy boy chair in the office, especially when someone is in the offrice. Where does your dog/cat love sitting first and foremost other than beside you or in your lap? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

My dogs, too, like to snuggle in on top of the couch! The attached pillows on the back of the couch are all squished down from their lounging. They can also keep an eye on the street, like Buster. Cookie loves to lounge on my bed while Gus has a large basket by the fireplace. Buster is such a handsome boy!

I have an extra computer chair in my office. Thats where they love to sit and sleep with their blankey. I usualy get followed into the living room and they will sit with me on the couch. They prefer to be with me and not alone. They do ignore me when they are playing toys or eating their doggie cookies lol

Buster is a spoiled little brat. He sits near us wherever we may be. He just needs the companionship it seems. If I get up and head to the living room he follows and lays at my feet usually. He is like a shadow most the day as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

He's showing what a good 'watch' dog he really is. He watches everyone go by, come in, and go out. LOL! At least it keeps him amused. My kitten Whiskers loves to either get up on top of the front door if it's open and look out under the edge of the door frame, or he loves to get up on the window air conditioner and look out there. The hilarious part about that is that he's getting too big for the part of the air conditioner that is inside the house, and he manages to fall off quite a bit. And then he looks at ME as if I pushed him off! LOL

Harmony has many spots... plant table in the front window, plant shelf in the back window, my computer chair (especially should I get up from it for a moment--zip!-- she's there!), the other computer chair, the chair in front of one of my bedroom windows, her own specially reserved (i.e. covered in cat hair) deck chair in the back room, the ironing board looking out the window of the sewing room... oh, let's just say she owns the house!

My cats have a variety of favorite sitting places. In the summer time, they like to sit in the living room window. My one cat Scoots, loves the sun, and will find a nice sunny spot. Recently, she has started sitting in my chair, whenever I leave my chair and come back I can find her there. She also loves sitting under the desk behind the trash can, there she is safe from my other cat Jake, who is such a bully As of last week, she has claimed a coat of mine, and she cuddles up on the coat so comfortable, I hate to take it away from her. Jake is really all over the place.

Our inside cat Bandit loves to sleep under the dinning room table. The dogs all take turns sleeping in the glider in their room.

I have a love seat in front of my front living room window. This is where my cat "guardes" the property from. She's primarily a house cat, but she doesn't want any other cats on her property. She screams at them if they're within her sight.

Hey Grandpa Bob! Well, my cat's like to sit in the livingroom on the top of the chair next to the window! I leave the blinds open just a little so that they can look out of the window. They like to look at whatever is happening outside! They can see the street and the cars and people and the little squirels running up the trees! I'm not really sure if they even know what they are looking at, but they just like to sit there anyway!

Buster likes his luxuries and he is just right sitting there watching the world go by. My cat used to sit up on the back off my sofa looking out the window for hours. My Mums dog does the same. She puts a furry blanket over her sofa and the dog loves lying there looking out. When she goes out she just lies there watching out for her to return. I guess pets just do not like to miss what is going on outside in the big wide world.

My old cat she used to wait for me to leave my bed and then go in under my covers and take a nap. My son sat on her once and jumped up and she came out looked at him and went back under. other wise she sat on him. She loved my son a great deal. As we did her. You have a great day. And what a sweet looking dog. Your friend onlydia
