Mosquitoes are quite a nuisance.the create all sorts of problem, besides spreading deadly malaria,i regularly use nets to keep the mosquitoes away.but still then they manage to sneak through. What are the other options to keep them away ?are there any traditional methods other than scientifically proven one's to keep them away ?

mosquito repellants - I use mosquito repellants of any kind so long as it works to keep the nuisance away
Hello Abhi. I use mosquito repellants to keep the mosquitoes away as well as screen window and screen door. I hate the buzzing noise made by these nuisances that carry diseases. They are mostly seen here in summer and autumn, but in winter when it is cold.

when my family uses the pool in the summer we put out a bug zapper and use citronella candles. If we are just going to be hanging outside then we spray on a pretty good dose of bug repellent. Bug bites are such a nuisance and we would hate for the kids to be uncomfortable. In general we try not to be outside in the dusk/evening hours so that we don't have to deal with the little pests.

Hi, like the above poster we have used a candle or a bug zapper to keep bugs to a minumum. That's the only way I have used bug repellants
