It's said to be an active ingredient in chocolate and cocoa. It's responsible for the stimulant effects of chocolate and also for its aphrodisiacal properties.

as a dog owner, I've definitely heard of it. it's what can kill dogs if they eat chocolate. their bodies can't process it, and it remains in the system, so even small amounts of chocolate, over time, can kill a dog when the level of it in their system gets too much.

Oh! I've never heard of that. I must be careful then If I ever have a dog. I didn't think it could be really dangerous even for a dog

LOL! Do you know how much chocolate you would have to eat? It would certainly be alot. I have read about this, but I believe it only applies to dark chocolate and you would be so sick after eating so much you wouldnt want to do anything.
