I like jack fruit because this fruit has a specific smell and a sweet taste, the shape is fruit is unique. Jack fruit is more delicious if we fried it, first put in a bowl some flour, one egg, two spoon of sugar, a little milk and water. Mix them together and stir up, then add the jack that you already cut, after that fried them in hot oil, if the color is already gold it meant the jack fried is ready to eat.

If I get you right, you're speaking of the jackfruit here. Well, it has been ages since I've seen a jackfruit tree with fruits, and it's been years since I've last eaten a jackfruit, too. Until now, I haven't noticed that this fruit has a 'smelly' odor; but along with other tropical fruits here in our country, I do love eating this fruit. I still remember way back when we were kids in the province, we were always instructed by the elders to apply a small amount of cooking oil onto our hands to prevent the fruit's sticky substance from holding onto our hands and lips. Aside from the fruit's flesh, we also eat the seeds by boiling them first. They're also edible. Anyway, I've noticed that you've responded to less than 60 discussions as of the moment, so I still consider you a newbie here. I'd like to give you a warm welcome in this wonderful community and I definitely hope that you'd eventually decide to stay here for good. Regards and may we both have a great year ahead of us.

Hi! I do like jackfruit and I don't mind the smell. To be honest I can't remember the last time I have eaten jackfruit and the smell of it. I think it has been years. I also like the raw one and cook it with coconut milk.
