Things in modern life you cannot live without.

Hi folks,
What are things in moder live you cannot live without?
1)For me the number 1 is the internet. Oh ghost. I cannot imagine my live without the internet I would be in complete disaster. Since all of my income are generated from the internet. If I loose the internet I can go on for a while because I have some savings but not for long. I have not save enough money for my retirement besides, i still have a long way way to go.
2)My cell phone is my connection with my family and friends. All the informations such as phone # note pad, calender are stored. I would be lost without my cell phone. can't imagine my live without it.
3)washing machine
4)refrigerator
And the list can go on and on.
So, what is on your list that you cannot live without it in modern live?

Plumbing. I know I actually could live without it, but it's a luxury I never want to have to live without!
The internet would be a close second. I grew up without color TV, no VCR, video games, no microwaves, no cordless phones, no personal computers, etc. not because we were poor, but because they didn't exist!
My first computer didn't even have a hard drive. You inserted a floppy disk for whatever program you wanted to run. Last week I bought a 2 gigbyte thumb drive for $5.00.
It's amazing what's available and possible through the internet. I can't even imagine what technology is going to be available when my grandkids reach college age (the oldest is 4) let alone when they reach my age, and I'm just middle aged!

Ah! Plumbing! It's a luxury I take for granted. It would be hell if we don't have plumbing. It's amazing what technology is available in less than 30 years. From the first personal computer to what we have now. Exactly! all of the technologies you are talking above weren't exixt when I grow up and I am not even 40 years. Amazing!

I think I can't live without TV. Now that I am enjoying getting online I still watch it while encoding. It's funny but true. I watch movies when I get bored going online. One time we lived in the hotel for over a month I did nothing but watch tv. I can get online but I get bored because I have not known MyLot then. I wish I had I could have not wasted my time sitting down all day long just watching tv. It was the most boring day in my life and the tv has kept me company.

1 microwave
2 cell phone
3 internet and computer
4 coffee pot
5 fax/printer lol I am not sure about this order really lol

OK I might as well admit it. I would die with out my internet/computer. I am so addicted. I get up and spend every second I can on it responding to my friends here on my lot and making more friends daily. I would be so lost. Food would be my second thing. with those 2 things I am good to go.
