Honey can be used as a substitute for sugar for diabetic people

It is true Honey may be used as a replacement for sugar in some cases for the people affected by diabetes. However, it may not match actual sugar's taste in some cases. Honey is in the form of Glucose. So insulin need not convert it into glucose. There is no work for insulin to act on honey glucose. so no sugar intake in case of honey. That's why honey is considered as a substitute for sugar.

hi, thanks for giving such a wonderful information.this would be more helpful for many diabetic.i think honey is a multypurpose medicine.
